Manifest

"Fuck You, Now Give Me a Treat" is a work of art by Mike Kelley. The words "Fuck You" are playfully and colorfully woven onto a linen canvas.

This piece serves as a satirical metaphor for the complexity of human interactions and the often contradictory, dark nature of social relationships. The duality of the soft linen canvas and the harsh, manipulative words forms the foundation for ODA's manifesto.

ODA begins by creating an analytical portrait that analyzes the story of the user, the design, and the location, firmly rooted in the rich traditions of art and architectural history. From this synthesis, the building is constructed as a protagonist, with a challenging and seductive character. The structure is now capable of both dominating and allowing itself to be manipulated.

This elite protagonist, functioning as an aesthetic machine, achieves its highest purpose through the duality between creating a logical, pure form through rhythm and function on the one hand, and breaking free from structure to create space for freedom and experimentation on the other.

This is translated into a comparable richness and sensuality, expressed through a scenographic composition of contrasts in tactility, structure, and materiality.

The result is an exclusive experience that not only stimulates and challenges but also provides a sense of stability.

The architectural sculpture thus creates friction with human and natural elements, a friction that unfolds as a dance between organic turbulence and inhuman reason.

Much like in Mike Kelley's work, where contradictory and dark aspects of social relationships are exposed, the building desires use and reward.
